The James A. & Faith Knight Foundation was established in 1999 to honor the memory of James A. and Faith Knight and the many sacrifices they made to enable this foundation to carry on their legacy. The James A. & Faith Knight Foundation tries to make a difference in the organizations and communities it serves.

What's New

• 2010 Grant Deadlines are Wednesday, February 24, 2010 (awards by June 2010) and Wednesday, September 15, 2010 (awards by December 2010).

• All applicants are expected to submit applications online using the Community Grants online system at http://www.communitygrants.org.  Training sessions will be offered prior to the deadline for any agencies wishing to receive training to use the system.  Please contact the foundation if you have questions or specifics to discuss.

• Announcing the Michigan Toolkit: In conjunction with the Institute for Women's Policy Research, we are pleased to announce the Michigan Toolkit, an important new tool for measuring and tracking the status of women at the city or county level. Feel free to download the tool and put it to use in your community.
